Meditation
Meditation has been a serious practice and way of life for monks and eastern cultures for over 2 thousand years. Western cultures have now started to embrace this profound practice and medicine has taken it to the laboratories proving it efficacious.
Many are familiar with the term Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) which falls under the umbrella of traditional meditation. It is an extremely safe and effective approach for balancing the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, supporting the care of anxiety, managing pain symptoms, reducing stress, improving sleep and supporting general mind/body health.
