Muscle Manual Therapy
Muscle Manual Therapy is an umbrella term for a variety of soft tissue techniques that can be applied during the course of treatment. Some examples of these techniques include trigger point therapy, active release therapy, myofascial release techniques and tissue frictions.
Which technique is applied will depend on the diagnosis and the tissue affected. It has numerous benefits including increased circulation, breaking down of micro adhesions, resetting neuromuscular firing, lengthening tissue and restoring muscular function.
It can be applied with all types of soft tissue injuries and dysfunctions.
