Spinal Decompression and Traction
Spinal decompression, or traction therapy, is utilized to increase the space between the spinal vertebrae. Increased space provides decompression to exiting nerve roots which may be impinged upon from bulged discs and it can allow better blood and synovial fluid circulation to the decompressed joint surfaces.
It is an effective treatment for sciatic pain, chronic back and neck pain, degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, joint impingement syndrome and bulged discs.
